The preserved bus service provided by the ADORR society will again be running a service between the exhibition, Alton Station, Alton Model Centre, and Alton Town Centre during the exhibition
For the fourth year, accompanied children will be able to enjoy the exhibition for free.
San Maria Gandia was awarded the Railway Modeller Shield for the best layout in show at FebEx2017. Bob Treacher, former proprietor of Alton Model Centre, judged the shows layouts on behalf of Peco Publications.
The Merstone layout was started by one of the Group’s former Chairmen Rod Lerew who very sadly died in 2015. AMRG member Mark Pretious took on the completion of the layout and FebEx2016 was its first outing.
