Mayor’s Wife Describes Local Business as ’An Eyesore’.

At last weeks meeting of the Pine Bluffs Towns Women’s Guild Mayors wife Martha Hackenback described the premises of Sanford and Son as a total eyesore. She went on to ask what people travelling on Interstate 46 would make of the family’s premises as they viewed them from the town over bridge.

When our reporter visited the premises yesterday he was greeted by a very unhappy old man Sanford who referred to Mrs Hackenback as an ‘interfering old biddy’. He went on to say that the Sanford family had been in the reclamation business for many years and were not likely to change their way of operating now (Ed note Mr Sanford said much more than this unfortunately the majority is unprintable).

The Town elders will be meeting later this month to discuss the future of the Sanford premises.
