
The February 2008 Group exhibition, held on February 2 and 3, was the fifth at Eggars School in Alton.
The exhibition included layouts from around the South, including Santo Antonio, Stacks Fork, Nettlecombe, Stratton St.George, Otterbridge and Tan-Y-Bwlch.
The lineup also included a number of traders, demonstrations from David Cole, Ron Neal, and Tom Rayer.
The exhibition also featured a series of modelling demonstrations and talks by Group members on DCC, Point Building, Backscene Painting, Baseboard Construction, Figure Painting and Sculpting, and Pre-Grouping Modelling.
The February 2007 Group exhibition, held on February 3 and 4, was the fourth at Eggars School in Alton.
The exhibition included layouts from around the South, including Lindtzal in Winter, Plymshot, George Street, Museum of Transport, and Golden Ridge.
The lineup also included a number of traders, demonstrations from David Cole, Phil Clark, Tom Rayer, MERG, and the Groups S4 modellers.
The exhibition also featured for the first time 'The Great Trainset Challenge' where the Groups members attempted to build a 'OO' gauge layout in just two days, which proved very popular, if not entirely successful!

The exhibition included some of the best layouts in the South, including Flintcombe, Hemlock, Hythe, Fox Valley and Winter Town.
The lineup also included a number of traders, demonstrations from David Cole, Phil Clark, Tom Rayer, MERG, and the Groups S4 modellers.
The exhibition also featured the Groups now legendary series of talks and demonstrations on 'How to turn your trainset into a model railway' which proved more popular than ever.
